Julie Strickland- Gilliard

Julie Strickland-Gilliard's work experience begins with their current position as the Chief Government Affairs Officer at Digital Dream Labs, which they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director for Western Pennsylvania at the Office of the Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania from January 2019 to September 2021. Julie also worked at Global Links, where they held the roles of Director of Domestic Medical Aid and Community Partners Program Manager from March 2017 to January 2019. Their responsibilities at Global Links included managing the Community Partners Program and providing medical supplies and support to organizations serving vulnerable populations. Before that, they briefly worked as a Service Coordinator at the Allegheny County Department of Human Services in 2016. In 2015, Julie served as an Overnight Membership Sales Representative at the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh, where they managed night-time operations of a residential facility and ensured compliance with rules and standards.

Julie Strickland-Gilliard completed their Bachelor's Degree in History at the University of Pittsburgh from 2002 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended The Ellis School for their High School education from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Julie obtained a certification as a PA HIV Prevention Counselor from the PA Department of Health in July 2015.
