Keenan Kugler has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Keenan started their career in 2011 as an Electrical Engineering Technician at Kent K. Johnson Consulting. From 2012 to 2015, Keenan worked as an Electrical Engineer at Rosen, where they were involved in the design of various electronic systems. Keenan then joined Daylight Solutions in 2015 as a Senior Firmware Engineer, focusing on the design and validation of Mid-IR Laser Systems. In 2018, Keenan took on the role of Senior Firmware Engineer at ROSEN, where they also worked as a Technical Team Leader managing agile teams and completing pilot engineering projects. Keenan was responsible for embedded system design, HDL design, embedded programming, UI design, and project management tasks. In 2021, Keenan became a Principal FPGA Engineer at Spirent Communications, where they designed and validated high-speed Ethernet systems. Currently, they are working at Digital Dynamics, Inc. as a Principal eSW/FPGA Engineer, where they are involved in designing and testing SIL-3 certified Ethercat systems for the silicon manufacturing industry. Keenan is also responsible for designing new hardware to support high-speed ADC interfaces for RF plasma monitoring. Keenan has extensive experience with programming languages such as C, Python, and VHDL, and has expertise in Verilog, Vivado, Modelsim, Ultrascale, and Ultrascale+ platforms.
Keenan Kugler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University. This educational experience took place from 2007 to 2012.
