Chief Information Officer at Digital Envoy

Jeff Burdette is the Chief Information Officer at Digital Envoy, a position they have held for over 22 years. Jeff was one of the first employees to join the company and was instrumental in the design and implementation of Digital Envoy's patented IP Intelligence technologies. In their role as CIO, Jeff is responsible for all information systems, including in-house and multiple customer-facing environments around the world, Data Science (R&D) and Analysis, DevOps/operations and Technical Support.

Jeff is a subject matter expert on IP intelligence and is the in-house expert on IPv6. In addition to the original design and implementation of the patented NetAcuity architecture, still in use today, Jeff is the co-inventor of the patented NetAcuity Edge technology and co-inventor of the Trusted Server technology used in Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Phishing Filter. Jeff is also a co-inventor of E-Scam, an anti-phishing product formerly deployed with Earthlink.

Prior to joining Digital Envoy, Jeff worked as a software engineer for Arris Interactive and Scientific Research Corporation. Jeff began their career as a programmer analyst for Information Systems Development.

Jeff Burdette attended Clemson University from 1986 to 1993, where they studied computer science. During their time at Clemson, they were active in the Go Tigers! student group.
