Lisa Ferraz

Head: People, Culture & Purpose at Digital Frontiers

Lisa Ferraz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lisa is currently working as the Head of People, Culture & Purpose at Digital Frontiers since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Assessor for the London School of Economics Negotiation Programme at GetSmarter from May 2019. From April 2019 to April 2022, Lisa worked as a Senior Industrial Psychologist at the City of Cape Town.

Before joining the public sector, Lisa was involved in organizational psychology, working as a Registered Industrial-Organizational Psychologist. Lisa held this position from January 2014 onwards and continues to be associated with it.

Lisa also gained valuable experience in the corporate sector as a Culture Transformation Manager at Engen Petroleum Limited from June 2016 to December 2017. Lisa also worked as an Organizational Development Specialist at the same company from April 2014 to May 2016.

Lisa'searlier career includes roles such as an Expatriate Consultant and Industrial-Organizational Psychology Intern (March 2010 to March 2014) at Engen Petroleum Limited. Lisa also worked as an ICAS Representative from June 2009 to February 2010, where they educated staff in the public and private sectors to improve the uptake of wellness programs.

Additionally, Lisa has experience in human resources and employee relations. Lisa worked as an Employee Relations Coordinator at Safmarine (Pty) Ltd in 2009 and as an Expatriate & Secondee Coordinator at the same company from February 2007 to July 2009.

Lisa's early career began as a Bookkeeper & Admin Assistant at XP-IT from May 2005 to May 2006. Overall, Lisa has a diverse skill set and extensive experience in areas such as people and culture management, organizational psychology, and human resources.

Lisa Ferraz's education history includes:

- In 1996, they attended Plumstead High School and completed their Matric.

- From 2002 to 2006, they studied at the University of Cape Town and obtained a Bachelor of Social Science (BSocSci) degree, majoring in Industrial Psychology and Psychology.

- Lisa continued their studies at the University of Cape Town from 2002 to 2010, earning a Master of Commerce (MCom) degree and a Bachelor of Social Science (B.Soc.Sc) degree. Lisa'sfield of study for both degrees was Organizational Psychology and Psychology.

- In 2020, they enrolled in the Coach Practitioner Programme at SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology), completing the program in 2021. The program focused on coaching.

- Following their completion of the Coach Practitioner Programme, they pursued the Advanced Coach Practitioner Programme at SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) in 2021, specializing in coaching.
