Prof. Dr. Peter Langkafel MD, MBA is an accomplished professional in the fields of digital health and medical informatics. Currently serving as a Professor and Director of the School of Digital Health at XU Exponential University of Applied Sciences since July 2020, Peter Langkafel also leads the Digital Health Factory as CEO. Previously, Peter Langkafel held CEO positions at Policum MVZ GmbH and Policum Studien GmbH from November 2020 to December 2023, focusing on clinical research studies. Additionally, Peter Langkafel founded Speechagain / Digithep GmbH to develop evidence-based digital therapy for stuttering. Peter Langkafel's leadership roles extend to serving as President of the Berlin/Brandenburg chapter of the German Professional Organisation of Medical Informatics and as General Manager for the public sector and healthcare at SAP AG for a decade. With a strong educational foundation, including an MD PhD in Medicine from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and an MBA in Healthcare Management from The Berlin School of Economics and Law, Peter Langkafel combines extensive expertise in both medicine and business management.
