Greg Barwis

Greg Barwis has extensive experience in the IT and gaming industry. Greg currently works as the Information Systems Director at Digital Insight Games (DIG). Previously, from 2013 to 2018, they served as a Producer, Live Services at Riot Games. Before that, from 2006 to 2012, they held the position of Vice President, Service Operations at Trion Worlds, where they played a founding role in establishing and expanding the IT and Operations organizations. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at NCsoft, focusing on designing and implementing the company's infrastructure. Earlier in their career, from 1995 to 2001, they worked as a Senior IT Technician / Systems Engineer at Origin Systems (Electronic Arts), where they were involved in several major technology migrations. Greg began their career in the US Army, serving as an M1 Armor Crewman and Administrative Specialist from 1987 to 1995, during which they gained experience in computer repair, network design, and process improvement.

Greg Barwis attended Los Angeles Pierce College from 2018 to 2021. During this time, they pursued an AS in Mathematics, an AA in Economics, and an AA in French. Prior to attending Los Angeles Pierce College, Greg briefly attended Texas A&M University in 1986, but left after one semester to join the US Army.
