Kostas Papadakis

Kostas Papadakis has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and positions. Kostas currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Digital Minds Ltd, where they manage finance-related matters for the company's content creation and distribution services. Prior to this role, Kostas worked as the Director of Finance at Trelleborg Marine & Infrastructure.

Kostas is also a Co-Founder & Partner at HBPO.gr, a company that offers CFO services to start-ups in Southeast Europe. Kostas played a crucial role in raising capital for these start-ups and provided them with the necessary financial tools to facilitate rapid growth.

Their previous experience includes working at GE in various finance leadership positions such as CFO of the Mining Solutions division and Project Management Office Finance Leader for GE Transportation - Global. Kostas was responsible for overseeing financial operations, strategic planning, and establishing robust compliance frameworks.

Before joining GE, Kostas worked as a Senior Finance Manager at Acelity and held auditing roles at Ernst & Young Athens and PwC, Nicosia. Kostas started their career as an Accountant at Kritsimas Accounting, Athens.

Throughout their career, Kostas has demonstrated expertise in financial management, project management, and international auditing.

Kostas Papadakis completed their education in the field of accountancy. From 1998 to 2001, they attended the University of Dundee, where they obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy (BACC) degree. After that, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued further education at ICAEW, where they earned the ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants) qualification in accounting. In June 2004, Kostas Papadakis also obtained the title of Fellow of ICAEW.
