Joseph Catalano

Joseph manages the delivery of all litigation-related services to the national bank with more than 11,000 employees, 350 branches, and $55 billion in assets. Previously, he was General Counsel of Bay View Capital Corporation [NYSE: BVC]. He is the Chair of the Litigation Committee of the Association of Corporate Counsel and is the immediate past president of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter. He is also a member of the Financial Institutions Committee of the State Bar. He spoke at the National Conference of the Association of Corporate Counsel in 2003 and 2004 on the topics, of How to Avoid Common Traps and Pitfalls in Insurance Coverage and Claims, End It Before it Begins, and Litigation Avoidance Techniques in Today’s Business Environment. Mr. Catalano received his Bachelor’s Degree, and his JD Degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in California.
