Michel Houle

Michel Houle is the current Director and Treasurer at DIGITAL OPPORTUNITY TRUST. Michel has over 25 years of experience in progressively senior financial leadership roles.

Michel began their career in 1991 at PPG Canada Inc. in their Financial Management Development Program. Michel then held positions of increasing responsibility, eventually becoming Manager of Managerial Accounting in 1997.

In 1997, Michel left PPG to join Senstar-Stellar Corporation as their Vice President of Finance and Administration and CFO. Michel held this position for seven years before moving to Canadian Commercial Corporation in 2004, where they served as Vice President of Risk and Finance and CFO for six years.

In 2010, Michel Houle joined the Canadian Museum of Nature as their Vice President, Corporate Services and CFO. Michel held this position for six years before taking on their current role at DIGITAL OPPORTUNITY TRUST.

Michel Houle attended the University of Ottawa for their Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in finance and accounting. After graduation, they became a Certified Management Accountant through the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario.
