Dominic Albrecht began their work experience in 2000 at Porsche South Africa, where they held the role of Selection and Accessories. Dominic later worked as an Analyst at Venn Diagnostics in 2006 and then transitioned to the position of Logistics Manager at Uwin Iwin Incentives. In 2010, Dominic became an Installation Specialist at Alexander Proudfoot and then moved on to work as a Consultant at Renoir Group from 2011 to 2012. Dominic joined Digital Planet in 2012 and took on various roles including eCommerce Account Manager, Business Intelligence Manager, Chief Information Officer, and Head of Analytics, where they focused on cloud technology and building a data culture.

Dominic Albrecht completed their Program in Management Development (PDM) degree in Business Administration and Management from the Gordon Institute of Business Science from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Varsity College in 2000. Dominic Albrecht completed their secondary education at Fourways High School, where they obtained their Matric qualification from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, Dominic Albrecht has obtained various certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Behavioural Economics in Action from edX in January 2022, the CDO Summer School 2021 from Carruthers and Jackson in September 2021, an Innovation certification from 42courses in May 2021, and the Ogilvy Masterclass on Behavioural Economics from Ogilvy Consulting UK in November 2020. Dominic also obtained the PMD certification from GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) in October 2015.
