Jan-Adriaan de Villiers

Jan-Adriaan De Villiers has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jan-Adriaan started their career in 2002 as a Tele Marketing & Client Service Consultant at PSG Online. Jan-Adriaan then worked as an Admin Clerk / Tracer at Prosperitas Debt Collectors and as a Skills Development Facilitator at Wholesale and Retail Seta. In 2003, they also held the position of Direct Marketing Consultant / Field Manager (Temporary) at Proash International (Pty) Ltd and worked as a Web Designer / Business Associate at Villorius Web Design and Hardware.

In 2004, De Villiers joined MTN Service Provider and held various roles such as Consumer Care Administrator / Order Entry Administrator, MTN Promotions Coordinator, and MRP Prepaid Manager, where they were responsible for operational planning, promotions management, and data/information management.

From 2013 to 2014, De Villiers worked at GloCell (Pty) Ltd as the Executive Head: Procurement, focusing on procurement, supply chain, and warehouse management.

In 2014, they joined Ingram Micro as a Management Consultant, where they contributed their expertise until 2015. Jan-Adriaan then became the Head of Operations and later the Country Manager until their departure in 2016.

Currently, Jan-Adriaan De Villiers serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Digital Planet since 2018. Prior to this role, they were the Head of Operations starting from 2017.

Throughout their career, De Villiers has gained extensive experience in operations, procurement, supply chain management, and leadership roles.

Jan-Adriaan De Villiers attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from an unknown start year to 2004. Jan-Adriaan earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in B.Comm Financial Management. Prior to that, they attended Cambridge University (CTI Computer College) from an unknown start year to 2001 and obtained an Information Technology & Science Certificate. Before their tertiary education, they completed their high school education at Die Wilgers High School.
