Dr. Ahmed Hanafy

Dr. Ahmed Hanafy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dr. Ahmed is currently a member of the International Association of Engineers since 2023. Prior to this, Dr. Hanafy served as the CEO of Digital Planets, a company they founded in 2018 that specializes in managed information security solutions. Under their leadership, Digital Planets became the first Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Egypt and the third in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Dr. Hanafy also oversaw the expansion of Digital Planets into the UAE in 2020 and the UK in 2021, with plans for further expansion in Saudi Arabia and Africa.

Before their tenure at Digital Planets, Dr. Hanafy worked at TE data, starting in 2009.
