CEO at Digital Power

René de Boer's work experience begins in 2005 as a trainee at Van Oord, where they worked on the engineering and execution of breakwaters for 'The World' project in Dubai. In 2006, they worked as a trainee at Heijmans. In 2008, they joined Ballast Nedam as a graduate student, building the risk file for the 'Magnum IGCC' project. From 2008 to 2016, René worked at TRACÉ, starting as a professional in civil engineering, then transitioning to a consultant role where they mediated between clients and employees. René later became the Business Unit Manager. Since 2016, René has been the CEO of Digital Power, a data consultancy agency that helps organizations turn data into actionable insights. Additionally, Digital Power offers knowledge sharing through their foundation, the Digital Power Datahub.

René de Boer completed their education at two different institutions. From 1998 to 2003, they attended St. Antoniuscollege and earned a high school degree with a focus on a profile in Natural Science & Technology, as well as Economics. Following this, they went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2004 to 2009.
