Alessandra Rangel

Research Project Manager at Digital Promise

Alessandra joins Digital Promise from New York University, where she developed pathway programs in postsecondary access and career exploration for middle and high school students attending New York City public schools. Previously, as a consultant and researcher with the Center for Public Research and Leadership (CPRL) at Columbia University, she collaborated with interdisciplinary teams across various projects and clients to develop measurement tools, oversee quantitive and qualitative research projects, and collaborate on continuous improvement work. Alessandra began her career in education as an AmeriCorps VISTA member coordinating an out of school time network of education nonprofits, government agencies, and school district partners along the U.S./Mexico borderland region, and has worked across a variety of research, writing, and nonprofit management roles. Alessandra is passionate about technology, equity, and education policy, particularly concerning improving access to opportunity in education. She received her BA in Neuroscience from Pitzer College and her MPA in Public Policy from NYU’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
