Maria Jones

Maria Jones has worked in a variety of roles in the education sector since 2005. Maria began their career as a Bilingual Teacher at NEISD in 2005, then moved to Instituto Anglo Britanico in 2009, where they worked as a Math Teacher. In the same year, they began working as a Bilingual Teacher at Austin Independent School District. In 2018, Maria started working as a Bilingual Academic Assistant at Leander ISD, where they currently co-teaches Science in Spanish in 5th Grade and works with small groups during Math. In 2020, Maria took on the role of Texas Curriculum Translation Reviewer at ECS LEARNING SYSTEMS, and in 2021 they began working as a QA Reviewer at Digital Seat Media and a Spanish Teacher at Proximity Learning, Inc.

Maria Jones completed a Bachelor of Arts in Information Sciences from Universidad La Salle Laguna in 2002. In 2021, they began taking courses at Austin Community College to obtain a Translation Skills degree in Language Interpretation and Translation.
