Phillip Olive is a highly experienced software engineer with a diverse range of skills and expertise. phillip began their career in 2000 as an Applications Developer at Collective Intelligence Inc., where they developed custom software solutions and prototype applications. In 2001, Phillip joined Wolters Kluwer as a Software Developer, where they worked on web tools and content transformation scripts.

After that, Phillip joined Harmony Home Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer, where they created touch screen software integrated with 3rd party applications. phillip then moved on to CompassLearning as a Flash Software Contractor, where they developed an educational game and converted existing games to Actionscript 3.

In 2011, Phillip worked at the General Land Office of Texas as a Software Architect, focusing on the Flex/Livecycle UI and the development of the Java middleware and SQL Server backend for the royalty reporting application. phillip also deployed testing and deployment environments using JBoss and Livecycle.

Following that, Phillip worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ClearOne, where they developed system configuration software and created a video platform for the company. phillip also worked at BYTE as a Chief Architect and Lead Android Engineer, managing a team of developers and developing the Android client for BYTE's mobile platform.

Phillip then joined Favor as a Senior Android Engineer, where they architected and built both the consumer and internal delivery driver app. At Q2ebanking, Phillip served as the Mobile Engineering Team Lead, leading both iOS and Android projects and managing junior Android developers.

Currently, Phillip is working at Digital Turbine as a Full Stack Android Engineer.

Phillip Olive obtained their Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University, a five-year program that started in 1992 and ended in 1997. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "Android P First Look for Developers" from LinkedIn in April 2019 and "Java 2" from Sun Microsystems.
