Tim Ramsey has a long and diverse work experience. Tim started their career at Anystream in 1999, where they were responsible for designing and building media encoding products used by major media companies. In 2008, they founded ZipList, a grocery list and recipe box management platform, which was later acquired by Condé Nast in 2012. At Condé Nast, Tim served as the Chief Architect, integrating ZipList technology into their web properties and enhancing its functionality. In 2016, they joined ListenFirst as a Principal Data Scientist, where they initiated the use of neural nets and machine learning techniques for sentiment analysis of social media data, and also built a low-cost search index leveraging AWS technologies. Tim then worked at Huntress as a Principal Software Engineer from 2020 until 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Digital Turbine, starting in December 2022.
