Darmawan Suwirya

Darmawan Suwirya is a Co-Founder at DigitalEx, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Front End Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from January 2020 to September 2022, where they spearheaded the development of AWS Private 5G and AWS Telco Network Builder public consoles and worked on the development of internal applications for EC2 fleet visibility and control. Before joining AWS, Darmawan was a Senior Software Engineer at IBM from July 2018 to December 2019. Darmawan also has extensive experience at Gemalto, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2009 to July 2018 and as an R&D Team Manager from July 2006 to December 2008. Prior to that, they worked at SchlumbergerSema / Axalto as an R&D Team Leader from January 2003 to June 2006 and as a Software Engineer from January 2001 to December 2002.

Darmawan Suwirya completed a Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their undergraduate education, they have obtained various certifications, including "Python for Data Science," "Beyond the Basics: Istio and IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service," "Big Data Foundations - Level 1," "Containers, K8s and Istio on IBM Cloud," "Data Science Foundations - Level 1," "Getting Started with Containers on IBM Cloud," "Getting started with Microservices with Istio and IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service," "IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer," "IBM Cloud Essentials," "Docker Essentials: A Developer Introduction," "IBM Blockchain Essentials," and "Principles of Reactive Architecture". Furthermore, Darmawan Suwirya obtained the "FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner" certification from The Linux Foundation in May 2023.
