Omar G. Ellison is a skilled VFX Editor currently working at DigitalFilm Tree since December 2021. In addition to this role, Omar served as the Director for the short film "Dancing with Raymond," which debuted at the Beverly Hills Film Festival in 2024. Previously, Omar contributed as a Video Editor for the Omar G. Ready Foundation, notably working on the fan-favorite Instagram series "Mermaids in the Garden." Omar's background includes editing promotional and social media content for HBO in 2019 and 2020, as well as content development at Quiktract Inc. Omar holds an Associate of Arts degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the Los Angeles Film School, completed between 2012 and 2014, and attended Campbell Hall from 2006 to 2010.
