Troy Nakatani

Troy Nakatani, PMP has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Troy has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in project management and product development. Starting from 1994, Troy worked as a Programmer/Analyst at GERS Retail Systems, before moving on to become the Director of Store Solutions at SVI Retail Systems. In this role, they managed a team of 18 people and oversaw multiple custom software development projects for prominent retailers. In 2002, Troy joined Websense as a Project/Dev Manager, followed by a position as a Project Manager at Wild Oats, Inc. in 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they served as the Director of Informatics at McKesson Health Solutions, overseeing process and data implementations for MHS systems. Troy later became the Vice President of Product Management at i3logix, Inc. from 2009 to 2010. Troy then worked as a Senior Technical Project Manager at ProBuild Holdings from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, Troy joined Visa as a Professional Services Project Manager, a role they held until 2015. Their most recent positions include Senior Project Manager and Chief Product Owner, Mission Operations at DigitalGlobe, where they have demonstrated their project management skills.

Troy Nakatani, PMP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from San Diego State University, which they attained between 1988 and 1992. Additionally, they have obtained the SAFe® 4 Certified Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2018.
