Geoffrey W. Smith

Geoffrey Smith is the Founder and Managing Partner at Digitalis Ventures, a company that invests in health solutions to complex problems. Additionally, he is the Founder and Chairman of Digitalis Commons, and a General Partner at Ascent Biomedical Ventures. He currently holds the position of Chair of the Board of Trustees at Central European University, and serves as a Board Member at USA Climbing. Geoffrey is also a Trustee at The Jackson Laboratory, an Executive-in-Residence at Columbia Technology Ventures, and a Visiting Scholar at The Rockefeller University. He holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Williams College.
