Archana Kamath

Archana Kamath is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering management and software networking. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering for Cloud Compute & Network at DigitalOcean since March 2018, Archana has successfully led multiple teams to enhance the company's Compute and Network product offerings, including Software Defined Networking. Prior to this role, Archana held various engineering management positions at DigitalOcean, including Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager. Earlier career highlights include a significant tenure at Cisco, where Archana was a founding member and Global Co-Chair of the Women in Science and Engineering initiative, advocating for diversity and inclusion within the tech industry. Archana's technical foundation was established through various engineering roles, including software development at Cisco and Motorola Mobility. Archana holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
