Ari Kalfus

Ari Kalfus is an accomplished security professional with a robust background in product and application security. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Product Security at DigitalOcean since November 2021, Ari leads initiatives to enhance security practices within the development lifecycle. Previously held roles include Senior Manager of Application Security at Optum Digital and Application Security Manager at Rally Health, where Ari directed comprehensive security programs and led critical security architecture projects. Ari's earlier experience includes penetration testing and security engineering at Capital One, as well as help desk management and technical support at Brandeis University. Ari holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business from Brandeis University, graduating Cum Laude.
