Mohamed Akbar R. has held various roles in the marketing and social media industry since 2014. Mohamed Akbar began their career at The School of Writing as the Digital Documenting & Social Media Officer. Mohamed Akbar then joined Lexli International as the Social Media Manager, responsible for Facebook Page Management and Basic Designing. In 2014, they were also Social Media Manager (Pakistan) at IWC Schaffhausen, where they managed the Facebook Page, Brand Activation and Social Media Campaigns. Mohamed Akbar also worked as Social Media Manager at Element Jeans Co, where their duties included Brand Startup on Social Media Sites, Product Marketing and Photography. In 2015, they joined DigiTrends as Head of Marketing, and subsequently held roles as Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager.

Mohamed Akbar R. began their education in 1999 at Progressive Children Academy, where they earned a Matriculation in Computer Science. In 2010, they graduated from Karachi University with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree. Mohamed Akbar also completed Module A, B, and C of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan in Accounting during this time. In 2012, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology. Additionally, they have a certification from Canon in the Basic of Photography.
