Amit Verma

Amit Verma is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Amit is the Founder of Digitup, an IT company that specializes in e-commerce and AI-machine learning development projects. Prior to this, they also founded Zayfy, a B2C marketplace connecting talented individuals with tourists interested in Indian artistic talent. Amit has also worked as an EU Epoxy Operations Excellence Engineer at Hexion Inc., where they assessed and improved global plant operations using Six Sigma tools. Amit has also worked as a Chemical Engineer, focusing on scale-up and business case development for a new facility. Earlier in their career, Amit worked as an Assistant Risk Consultant at ERM and as a Process Engineer at Technip. Amit has also had industrial training and research experience at the Indian Institute of Toxicology Research and the Inter University Accelerator Centre.

Amit Verma holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Technology, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. Amit later pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Adelaide, completing it in 2009. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt from Hexion Inc. in 2013 and Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) from exida in July 2010.
