Monica Chan

Monica Chan is a seasoned professional with a robust background in corporate law and entrepreneurship. Currently a member of 20:40 since March 2022 and co-founder of DigiWorks, which focuses on democratizing talent through an AI-driven marketplace for remote hiring, Monica previously served as a corporate lawyer at Latham & Watkins, specializing in strategic M&A, private equity, and venture capital. Monica’s legal expertise was further developed through various roles, including a trainee solicitor where competencies were built across banking, data and technology transactions, competition law, and corporate law. Early career experiences include legal internships at prestigious firms such as Linklaters and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Educational achievements include an LPC from BPP Law School and an LLB from Queen Mary University of London.
