John Shoemaker

John Shoemaker began their career in 2007 as a Food Service Worker at Woody's Ice Cream. In 2008, they worked as a Construction Worker at Jtg Electric Company Inc. In 2012, they were an Early Childhood Teacher's Assistant at the MUSC Family Literacy Program, teaching children to read in Spanish and English, assisting in grant writing, and performing community outreach and administrative tasks in Spanish. In 2013, they worked as a Food Service Worker at Luxbar Restaurant and as a Program Manager, Project Manager, and Marine Engineer Officer Student at the US Marine Corps. In 2017, they began working at RTR Technologies, LLC as a Program Manager and, in 2021, they started at Dignari, LLC as a Program Business Analyst.

John Shoemaker obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration and Spanish Language and Literature from The Citadel between 2009 and 2013. In 2017, they earned a Security+ certification from CompTIA, and in 2018, they obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
