Matt S.

Matt S. has over 15 years of work experience. Matt began their career in 2003 as an Intelligence Analyst, Crime Mapping Analyst, and Strategic Analysis Section Intern at the Washington/Baltimore HIDTA. In 2007, they joined the Alexandria Police Department as a Crime Analyst. In 2010, they were promoted to Supervisory Crime Analyst, where they managed the daily operations of the crime analysis unit and crime analysis budget, as well as coordinated maintenance contracts with crime analysis software vendors. In 2015, they joined Capgemini as a Manager, where they managed the daily operations of the Data Analytics team, supervised the production of a revised data driven bi-weekly report, and guided the development of an executive summary designed for the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner. In 2018, they joined Dignari, LLC as a Project Manager.

Matt S. received their Masters of Science in Financial Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminology/Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland in 2003. In 2017, they also obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
