Munirr Sesay

Munirr Sesay has held a variety of roles in the past eight years. In 2013, they worked as a Sales Associate for Nu Look Home Design, Inc. In 2014, they held two positions, one as a Resident Assistant for Old Dominion University and another as a Summer Intern for NATO ACT Innovation Hub. In 2015, they were a Machine Lab Assistant for the Department of STEM Education and Professional Studies. From 2016 to 2019, they worked for Chenega Technical Innovations, LLC, first as a Systems Engineering Intern and then as a System Engineer. Since 2021, they have been a Software Engineer for Dignari, LLC. As a System Engineer at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, they supported engineering efforts for multiple projects, built security architectures, and assisted in the implementation of appropriate information security functionality. At Chenega Technical Innovations, LLC, they set up and maintained Windows and Linux servers, troubleshot ENFIRE software and security issues, and tested all major reconnaissance equipment for the ENFIRE kit.

Munirr Sesay attended Old Dominion University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Mechanical Engineering Technology degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician. In addition, they hold CompTIA Security+ and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certifications.
