Neeraj Mehta

Neeraj Mehta is the current Chief Executive Officer at DigniFi. Prior to this, they served as the Interim President and CEO of United Way from March 2021 to October 2021. United Way advances the common good by creating opportunities for all, with a focus on education, income and health—the building blocks for a good quality of life and a strong community.

Before their time at United Way, Neeraj served as the Executive Vice President & CEO of Payment Solutions and Chief Commerical Officer at Synchrony from January 2015 to March 2021. At Synchrony, Neeraj managed a $20B portfolio of consumer loans across numerous industries, including furniture, auto, home improvement and powersports. Neeraj also oversaw a point of sale financing business working with hundreds of thousands of merchants and millions of cardholders to enable physical and digital commerce.

Neeraj has also served as the President and CEO of Commercial Distribution Finance at GE Capital from July 1996 to January 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the management and growth of GE’s North American commercial lending businesses.

Prior to their work at GE Capital, Neeraj worked as a Marketing Analyst at Practice Builders from June 1992 to June 1994.

Neeraj Mehta has a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts from UC Irvine. Neeraj's educational background is in finance and accounting and they have worked in both the public and private sectors.
