Robert J. Di Lauri is the founder of the Di Lauri & Hewitt Law Group. While Mr. Di Lauri is experienced in all aspects of litigation, he devotes a substantial amount of his practice to personal injury/insurance defense, commercial litigation, employment litigation, contract disputes and criminal law/municipal court matters.

Mr. Di Lauri routinely advises property owners, property managers, general contractors, and subcontractors in New Jersey and New York state courts on the exposure they face in commercial general liability, premises liability, negligence, construction accident, and fall-down accident matters. He also has extensive experience in property management contract interpretation and negotiation.

Prior to forming the Di Lauri & Hewitt Law Group, Mr. Di Lauri worked at an insurance defense firm and in-house at a Fortune 500 Insurance Company as a claims adjuster in the company’s Global Management Liability Insurance group where he managed litigation claims and drafted coverage opinions. These experiences provided Mr. Di Lauri with the knowledge and strategic know-how to best serve his client’s needs.
