Alex Harris has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Since 2020, they have been working as the Head of Finance Change, Transformation & Operations at Diligenta, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Change Portfolio - Finance at the same company from 2017 to 2020.
Before joining Diligenta, Alex worked at Quilter as a Senior CASS Consultant from 2017 to 2019, and at International Financial Data Services (IFDS) as a Senior Project Manager from January to June 2017.
Alex also has a significant tenure at Legal & General, where they held various roles including Head of Cash, Custody and Client Money / Dep CF10a (Cofunds) from 2013 to 2016, Head of Finance and Operational Projects from 2011 to 2013, Head of Retail Savings Finance from 2010 to 2011, Head of Specialised Savings Finance from 2009 to 2010, Head of PMS Finance from 2008 to 2009, and Head of Individual Wealth Finance from 2007 to 2008.
Alex started their career as a Group Accountant at First Choice Holidays from 2004 to 2007, then worked as a Finance Manager International Insurance at American Express from February to September 2004.
Prior to that, Alex worked at Kimberly-Clark as a European Intercompany Team Leader from 2002 to 2004, at Royal & Sun Alliance as an Assistant Accountant from 2000 to 2002, and at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Trainee Accountant from 1999 to 2000.
Alex Harris completed the Prince 2 Foundation & Practitioner course at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2016. Before that, from 2013 to 2016, they pursued an EMBA degree at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In 1999, Alex became a Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant after completing the ACCA program. Alex'sundergraduate studies were in Accountancy & Finance at the University of Exeter, which they completed from 1996 to 1999, with a specialization in Accounting and Finance.
