Stephen Li

Stephen Li has over 20 years of work experience. Stephen began their career in 1998 as an Engineer & Inventor at Motorola Mobile Device. During this time they were responsible for Management and Software Engineering for GC87, StarTec, V60 and other projects. In 2008, Stephen moved to Qualcomm where they held the role of Engineer & Inventor. At Qualcomm they were responsible for Management & Software Engineering of Android OS, FFOS, and many other High-Level OSes, from the SnapDragon chipset on the first Android phone, G1, till billion Android devices shipped; The first Firefox OS phone; many patents around Location, Perception, User Experiences on smart devices. Stephen then moved to Magic Leap, Inc. in 2014 where they held the role of Head Of Software. In 2016, Stephen became the CEO and co-Founder of AOTU and in 2019 they became the OpenCV Hardware Board Chair.

Stephen Li obtained a Master of Science in Information Technology from Northwestern University between 2003 and 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
