Morgan Boyco

Morgan Boyco has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They have been a Doctoral Student and Instructor at the University of Waterloo since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Dillon Consulting Limited as a Planner and Community Engagement Specialist from September 2012 to the present. They also served as an Associate at Dillon Consulting Limited from May 2017 to September 2020. Before joining Dillon Consulting Limited, Morgan worked as a Project Coordinator & Stakeholder Engagement Specialist at Rural Ontario Institute from December 2010 to May 2012. They also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Guelph from 2008 to 2010. In their early career, they served as an Intern Community Engagement Officer at the Canadian International Development Agency from September 2007 to June 2008. They also worked as an English as a Second Language Teacher at iTTi Japan Co. Ltd. from September 2005 to December 2006.

Morgan Boyco is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at the University of Waterloo, starting in 2020 and expected to graduate in 2024. Prior to this, Morgan obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Rural Planning & Development from the University of Guelph, completing the program between 2008 and 2010.

Before pursuing graduate studies, Morgan earned a Bachelor of Arts (1st Class Hons) in Political Science from Simon Fraser University from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, in 2002 to 2003, Morgan acquired a Certificate in International Development Studies from the University of Sussex. The earliest known education experience for Morgan Boyco is from 1999 to 2001, during which they studied Political Science at Augustana University College.

Morgan Boyco has also obtained certifications such as being a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (MCIP®) from the Canadian Institute of Planners in October 2020. They also hold the designation of RPP (Registered Professional Planner) from the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
