Tyler Young

Tyler Young has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental engineering and project management. Tyler currently holds the position of Environmental Engineer and Project Manager at Dillon Consulting Limited, starting in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Environmental EIT at hiveEng from November 2020 to January 2022. In 2020, Tyler was employed as a Heavy Civil Construction Labourer at TerraEx Inc, where they participated in site development projects. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as an Environmental EIT at GEMTEC Consulting Engineers & Scientists Limited, gaining experience in compliance monitoring, environmental drilling, and remedial excavations. Tyler started their career as a Field Geophysicist, EIT at MRS Management Ltd. in 2016 and was later promoted to UXO Geophysical Team Leader, EIT. In this role, they were involved in the detection and removal of explosive materials and discovered artifacts from the War of 1812.

Tyler Young completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geological Engineering from the University of New Brunswick from 2012 to 2016. In 2019, Tyler obtained certifications as an Engineer-In-Training from the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists NB (APEGNB) and in Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from the Canadian Red Cross.
