Avi Shmuel has been working in the quality assurance and operations fields since 2002. Avi began their career at GE Healthcare as a Manufacturing Product Leader, where they managed engineering and supplier changes, defect analysis, and training of teams and suppliers. In 2016, they moved to Arineta Ltd. where they served as a Quality Assurance Team Leader and Operations Quality Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for production and process control, subcontractor's quality management, analysis and investigations of production and inspection failures, ongoing data analysis, SPC, running quality projects activities, product specification, and QMS processes, maintenance of production quality processes, inspection measuring and test equipment control, calibration and maintenance risk based processes, processes improvement cycles, overall training related to quality processes, and product lot release activities. In 2020, Avi moved to Philips as a Supplier Quality Engineer. Finally, in 2022, they joined Dilon Technologies Inc. as a Quality Assurance Manager.
Avi Shmuel obtained a Practical Engineer degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2000 and 2002. Avi then obtained an Associate's degree in Quality Engineer CQE from the same institution between 2010 and 2011. In 2012, they obtained the Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification from Quality Engineer. In 2014, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Multidisciplinary from the University of Haifa. In 2018, they obtained the Medical Device Regulations certification from Tel Aviv University. Avi also holds the Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Lead Auditor certifications from Quality Engineer and Standared Institution of Israel respectively.
