Deepak U

Deepak U has work experience as a Robotics software engineer at DIMAAG-AI since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Postgraduate Student at the College of Engineering Trivandrum from 2020 to 2022, where they developed robot operating system based projects and created an autonomous mobile robot for campus use. Deepak also developed a computer vision-based automation solution integrated with ROS to automate the road marking process. Deepak U also worked as a Robotics Engineer at ASIMOV Robotics in 2022, where they specialized in customizing service robots, implementing autonomous navigation using move_base, and integrating hardware actuators. Earlier in their career, they served as an Assistant Executive at VKC Group, India from 2017 to 2019 and as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Steeltech Engineering works from 2016 to 2017.

Deepak U completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production from the Vidya Academy of Science and Technology between 2012 and 2016. Deepak then pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Robotics and Automation from the College of Engineering Trivandrum, from 2020 to 2022.
