James Ford has been a professional musician since 1998, when they started their own music company, James Ford Music. In 1997, they played guitar live on Saturday morning SMTV show with Ant & Dec with Cat Deeley. In 2016, they became the lead guitarist of Mel Gaynor and in 2018, they became the guitarist for Mel Gaynor's Risk. In 2017, they were endorsed by Gruv Gear and became the UK Ambassador for Ibanez Guitars and was endorsed by Ibanez Guitars UK. In 2018, they were endorsed by Essetipicks. From 2013-2015, they were the guitarist for The Vibeadeliks and the lead guitarist of The Aim. In 2019, they were endorsed by both DiMarzio Inc. and Rotosound Manufacturing Ltd.
