Michael Marshall

Michael Marshall has a diverse work experience in accounting and finance roles. Michael is currently working as a Senior Accountant at Dimension Renewable Energy since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at IDI Logistics as an Accountant from December 2021 to April 2023. Before joining IDI Logistics, Michael was a Corporate Accountant at Lazer Spot from March 2021 to December 2021.

Before transitioning into corporate accounting roles, Michael gained experience in accounts payable at Golder. Michael started as an Accounts Payable Specialist in October 2017 and later became an Analyst, Accounts Payable Lead from January 2019 to March 2021. At Golder, they ensured proper allocation of payables, processed monthly accounts, and assisted with AP account reconciliations.

Prior to their career in accounting, Michael worked as an RCM Accounting Intern at Azalea Health from October 2016 to July 2017. Michael also gained experience in a different field as a Weight room attendant at Valdosta State University Rec Center from May 2015 to October 2016. In this role, they assisted in the safe and proper use of exercise equipment, supervised member activities, maintained and inspected equipment, enforced policies, and ensured cleanliness.

Michael Marshall completed their high school education at Norcross High School from 2009 to 2013. Michael obtained a high school diploma through the Regular/General High School/Secondary Diploma Program. Following that, from 2013 to 2017, they attended Valdosta State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting. After a few years in the workforce, Michael returned to their studies and enrolled at Mercer University in 2021. Michael is currently pursuing a Masters in Accountancy, specializing in Accounting, and is expected to graduate in 2022.
