Clayton Poppe has a diverse work experience in the clean technology and healthcare industries. Clayton began their career as a Lead Systems Engineer at Aksys Ltd., where they contributed to the development of a hemodialysis machine designed for home use. Clayton later worked as a Contractor at Baxter Healthcare, followed by an internship as a Leaders for Manufacturing Intern at ABB, where they focused on improving manufacturing processes and project management.

In 2009, Clayton joined e2e Materials as the Chief Technical Officer, responsible for all technical functions and product development. Clayton successfully licensed the company's technology and established partnerships in various industries. Clayton later transitioned to the role of Vice President of Engineering before leaving the company in 2018.

During their time at e2e Materials, Clayton also worked as a Product Development Consultant at Salt City Technical Corp., where they contributed to the development of new products.

In 2014, Clayton became a Mentor at NEXUS-NY, a clean energy start-up accelerator, where they provided guidance and support to entrepreneurs in the clean energy sector.

In 2016, Clayton co-founded Dimensional Energy, a company focused on artificial photosynthesis to create solar fuels and feedstocks.

Clayton'smost recent position is the Chief Technical Officer at Diality, where they are leading the development of a smart, flexible, portable hemodialysis machine that allows patients to self-treat at home or while traveling.

Clayton Poppe completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from Duke University, graduating in 2001. Following that, they pursued further education and earned their Master of Science in Engineering Systems from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2009. During their time at MIT, they were also enrolled at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree as a Leaders for Global Operations Fellow.
