Bernard Grzelak

Bernard Grzelak has extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Bernard is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President at Dimensional Fund Advisors since September 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC, including Partner, Chief Operating Officer, Global Funds & Risk; Chief Financial Officer, Lord Abbett Funds from December 2018 to August 2020. Bernard also served as Partner, Chief Operations Officer; Chief Financial Officer, Lord Abbett Funds from October 2016 to November 2018 and Partner, Director of Fund Administration; Treasurer, Lord Abbett Funds from October 2008 to September 2016. Before joining Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC, Bernard worked at Lazard Asset Management as Vice President, Director of Fund Administration, Treasurer - The Lazard Funds from September 2000 to March 2003. Prior to that, they gained managerial experience at Deloitte from August 1993 to September 2000.

Bernard Grzelak received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in the years 1989 to 1993. Bernard also holds additional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant from New Jersey, Chartered Global Management Accountant from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, and Series 27 and Series 7 certifications from FINRA.
