Lavanya V. has extensive work experience, starting in 1998 with Siemens Healthineers, where they worked as a Senior Software Consultant. Lavanya then went on to work at NEC Corporation of America as a Senior Software Systems Engineer, where they were involved in the design, development, testing, and post-production support of the Retail Information System for 7-Eleven.

From there, Lavanya worked at QT Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer Lead, developing multi-threaded software for Intermec mobile handheld terminals. Lavanya then joined Bank of America as a Senior .NET Consultant, where they improved banking application performance and resolved application stability issues.

In 2014, Lavanya joined KLA as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on the development of the KT Analyzer product for semiconductor metrology data analysis. Lavanya then worked at Grifols as a Senior Software Engineer, collaborating with Plasma lab staff to develop a lab information system.

Lavanya's next role was at Charles Schwab, where they worked as a Lead Senior Staff Software Engineer. In this role, they led development teams and engaged in various roles to provide technical direction and leadership. Lavanya successfully delivered multiple cost-saving projects and handled client partner collaboration.

Following their time at Charles Schwab, Lavanya worked at Farm Credit Bank of Texas as a Tech Lead Software Engineer. In this role, they led projects on a distributed loan accounting and servicing system, collaborating with various stakeholders and teams to design and develop solutions.

Most recently, Lavanya worked at SafetyChain Software as an Engineering Tech Lead before joining Dimensional Fund Advisors as a Lead Software Engineer.

Lavanya V. obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Kerala from 1992 to 1996. Lavanya also completed a Post Graduate Program in Cloud Computing at The University of Texas at Austin in 2021. Additionally, Lavanya has obtained certifications in various fields including Azure Service Bus, C# Test Driven Development, Cloud Native Twelve-Factor Applications, DevOps Foundations: Going Cloud Native, and Microservices Foundations, all from LinkedIn in November 2019.
