Tami Blakeney

Tami Blakeney has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tami most recently served as the Head of PMO and Corporate Systems at Dimensional Fund Advisors, starting in July 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Head Of Project Management Office at the same company since September 2019.

From 2016 to 2019, Tami worked for Keller Williams Realty, Inc. as the Director of Programs and Technology Operations. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing internal operations systems, projects, and products, including successfully delivering the first global internally developed product for managing financial transactions.

Before joining Keller Williams, Tami worked at AECOM from 2014 to 2016 as a Project Manager and Senior Project Controls specialist. Tami managed multiple small and large capital projects, authored proposals, and maintained client relationships for successful project delivery.

From 2008 to 2014, Tami held positions at HelioVolt, including Director of Engineering and Strategic Programs. Tami was responsible for managing engineering work, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiency. Tami also served as the Site Services Manager, responsible for facilities operations, planning, and other departments. In this role, they developed financial models and project plans, securing $50M in foreign investments.

Tami's early career includes a position at Applied Materials from 2000 to 2007, where they served as a Senior Engineering Project Manager, Operations Supervisor, and Manufacturing Engineer. Tami supervised employees, implemented cost-saving strategies, and improved quality and cycle time. Before that, they worked as a Management Consultant at Premier, Inc. from 1999 to 2000, providing support in productivity monitoring, process changes, and cost savings initiatives.

Throughout their career, Tami has demonstrated expertise in project management, operations, and strategic planning, consistently delivering successful outcomes and driving organizational growth.

Tami Blakeney has a BSIE degree in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Tami later pursued an MBA in TEMBA from Texas McCombs School of Business, completing it from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, Tami has obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
