Matthias Patz

Matthias Patz is an accomplished professional currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. and a member of the Digital Advisory Board at Deutsche Digitale Beiräte, alongside holding the position of Chairman of the Board at Technologiestiftung Berlin. Previously, Matthias Patz was Chief Innovation Officer and Geschäftsführer at BIOTRONIK and BIOLAB Innovation GmbH respectively, and demonstrated extensive experience at DB Systel GmbH in various leadership roles. With a solid foundation in entrepreneurship from founding compreo UG, Matthias Patz has also contributed as an advisor and mentor for startups. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship from Technische Universität Berlin and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Twente, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Business Computing from the University of Cooperative Education Rhein-Main.
