Carol Assis

Carol Assis is a seasoned data consultant with extensive experience in leading data-driven initiatives across various industries. Currently serving as Lead Data Consultant at Thoughtworks since August 2022, Carol previously worked as Data Manager at Woke, where the focus was on developing a cross-functional data team and managing the entire data pipeline. Carol also held the role of Data Science Product Owner at Por A Mais B, overseeing the integration of a data culture to enhance decision-making processes. Earlier experience includes serving as Research Coordinator at LEPES, where Carol led research on socio-emotional development, and participating in financial modeling projects at EY, contributing to public-private partnership initiatives. Carol holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, along with a High School Diploma in Chinese Studies from Hebei International School.
