Carlos Hurtado Botero

Carlos Hurtado Botero currently holds the position of Gerente de Seguridad de la información y ciberseguridad (CISO) at Diners Club del Ecuador. With extensive experience in information security and cybersecurity, Carlos previously served as Gerente de riesgos no financieros at Mibanco, overseeing non-financial risk management and fraud mitigation. Roles at Banco AV Villas and Itaú Colombia involved ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, Carlos has roots in information technology through positions at Helm Bank and ETEK INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION, contributing to the implementation of IT projects and security policy compliance.
