Charlie Forrest

Charlie Forrest has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Charlie is currently the Chief Operating Officer at DINGO, where they focus on safe and sustainable mining through predictive maintenance. Before joining DINGO, Charlie worked at Newtrax as the Vice President for Europe, Middle East, North Africa & CIS and later as the Vice President for Europe, Middle East & North Africa. At Newtrax, they oversaw the regional business unit of sales, service, and support resources, as well as the Sandvik Digital Offering. Prior to Newtrax, Charlie was the Director of Business Development at RPMGlobal. Charlie also served as the Managing Director & Vice President for Asia Pacific at Newtrax Technologies Inc. Additionally, Charlie has worked at Dassault Systemes, where they held various roles such as Account Executive/Business Development Manager, M&A Associate, and Global Product Manager. Before that, they worked at Mincom as a Domain Principal and Senior Mining Consultant, and at Comlabs as a Technical/Functional Mining Consultant.

Charlie Forrest has a diverse education history. In 2000, they began studying at the University of South Australia, where they completed a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Management Information Systems. After gaining some work experience, they pursued further education and in 2008, attended the University of Toronto, where they earned a degree in Financial Management, specializing in Finance. In 2012, Charlie enrolled at The University of Queensland and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Throughout their career, they have also obtained several certifications. In 2010, they earned a Certificate in Practices in Agile Teams, and also became Pragmatic Marketing Certified through the Pragmatic Marketing organization. Additionally, they acquired a Mining Engineering Certificate from Engineering Education Australia (EEA) in 2005, deepening their knowledge in the field of Mining and Mineral Engineering. Charlie's commitment to education continued beyond traditional institutions, as they sought further certifications in various domains. Charlie completed a Certificate in Exploration, Mining & Processing through an unidentified institution in 2012, and acquired a Certificate from Money Mining in 2013.
