Fr. Jon Thomas

Fr. Jon Thomas is a dedicated clergy member with extensive experience in various roles within the Diocese of Camden and beyond. Currently serving as a Chaplain for the New Jersey State AFL-CIO since July 2022 and as Pastor at Christ the King Church since July 2020, Fr. Thomas also holds a position on the Diocesan Finance Council. Previously, Fr. Thomas acted as Pastor for the Parish of Saint Monica from July 2015 to July 2020 and served in multiple capacities, including Recording Secretary and Executive Secretary for the Presbyteral Council from December 2012 to January 2019. Other significant roles include Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and Christ Our Light Parish, as well as advisory board membership with LUCY Outreach. Fr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary-Overbrook and a Bachelor of Sacred Theology from The Catholic University of America.
