Jasmine Riel

Jasmine Riel is an experienced library professional with a strong focus on youth services and community engagement. Currently serving as the Teen Services Librarian at Cherry Hill Public Library since September 2015, Jasmine oversees the development of Young Adult collections and manages the selection of teen volunteers. Jasmine has also worked as an Adult Services Librarian, providing customer service and technology assistance, and as a Library Assistant to Youth Services, where routine tasks and creative displays were key responsibilities. In addition, Jasmine reviews Young Adult literature for Kirkus Reviews and serves as a Cantor for various Catholic parishes, demonstrating extensive involvement in music and worship services since 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library & Information Science from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Music from Westminster Choir College.
