Sheila Whalen has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Colorado Springs since July 2021. Prior to this role, Sheila held the position of Principal at St. Peter Catholic School from August 2012 and also served as Principal at St. Mary Catholic School from July 2002 to June 2012. Sheila Whalen earned a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado Denver (1992-1997) and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a Reading Minor from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids (1977-1981).
